Food Bank Resources
The Star Food Bank provides food and other items each month to families and seniors in need.
You and your family are allowed (1) food box per month including canned foods, dairy, produce and frozen meat. Additionally, you can come one additional time during the calendar month to shop for extra fresh produce, bread and other items, depending upon availability.
There are no income restrictions to receive our services.
We do have boundary restrictions. We currently serve the communities of Star, Eagle, Emmett and Middleton. Please contact us before you come to determine if you are eligible.
A volunteer will ask you some questions about your situation. In order to complete the required paperwork you must provide:
Photo identification
Proof of your current address (such as a utility bill).
You will be asked the names, birth dates, and current household incomes of all individuals living in your household.
HOURS & LOCATION
For the foreseeable future, we have switched our food bank distribution to a Drive Thru Service for the health and safety of our patrons and volunteers.
Tuesdays: 1:30pm – 3:30pm
Thursdays: 3pm – 5:30pm
The Star Food Bank is located at 10775 State Highway in front of Star City Hall.
