Star’s Great Cardboard Regatta is coming!
What is a Regatta?
All hands on deck! It’s time to sail… or spectacularly shipwreck! ⚓
Star’s Great Cardboard Regatta is a family-friendly, high-seas adventure where crews craft boats made entirely of cardboard, duct tape, and a whole lot of hope. Each crew launches them onto the waters of Freedom Park Lake.
Forget luxury liners and mega-yachts. These vessels run on creativity, courage, and comedy. Some ships will glide like swift clipper boats… others may instantly embrace their destiny as underwater explorers. Either way, laughter is guaranteed! Rumors of pirates are absolutely true, so keep watch at the bow!
Crews design their own floating masterpieces and battle it out with paddles blazing, all while trying to stay afloat just a little longer than their rivals.
Best of all, this swashbuckling spectacle supports a meaningful mission. The Great Cardboard Regatta raises funds for the Star Food Bank’s Capital Campaign, helping provide food and resources to families in our community. Every vessel gets us a bit closer to our goal!
So grab your crew, hoist the sails, make some waves and help make a difference on shore!
